The Road To Hana

The Road to Hana winds around the North side of the big part of the island. It’s about 30 miles to Hana but because there are so many beautiful sites along the road it takes all day.
The Garden of Eden is supposed to be a great arboretum, however, since we took the road on New Years Day it was closed.

One of the many great views along the road.

There were so many of these waterfalls you couldn’t possibly stop at them all. We did our best though.

There are so many waterfalls on the road to Hana. Many of the best are off the road that you need to hike up to. It’s a bit longer then 30 miles up to Hana. It’s about that when you start the really windy part. Some of the best waterfalls we take our time at are past Hana near the Seven Sacred Pools. That is a spot you should check out next time in more depth.
